Strasburg is a village in Shelby County, Illinois, United States. The population was 603 at the 2000 census.Strasburg is located at 39°21′5″N 88°37′10″W / 39.35139°N 88.61944°W / 39.35139; -88.61944.According to the 2010 census, Strasburg has a total area of 0.53 square miles, all land.As of the census of 2000, there were 603 people, 208 households, and 139 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,141.9 people per square mile. There were 222 housing units at an average density of 420.4 per square mile. The racial makeup of the village was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.17% of the population.There were 208 households out of which 29.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.6% were married couples living together, 4.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.7% were non-families. 30.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
