Astoria is an incorporated town in Fulton County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,141 at the 2010 census.Astoria is located in southwestern Fulton County at 40°13′39″N 90°21′28″W / 40.22750°N 90.35778°W / 40.22750; -90.35778. U.S. Route 24 passes through the center of town, leading northeast 18 miles to Lewistown, the county seat, and southwest 15 miles to Rushville.According to the 2010 census, Astoria has a total area of 0.59 square miles, all land.As of the census of 2000, there were 1,193 people, 501 households, and 328 families residing in the town.
